  5. If a Last Seat award ticket is canceled before departure.

  6. If an award ticket is canceled at least 180 days before the scheduled departure.

  7. If a standard ticket is canceled at least 60 days before departure.

  8. In case of special circumstances, such as the death or serious illness of a passenger or close family member, jury duty, etc., subject to documentary evidence.


Frontier 24 Hours Cancellation Policy


Frontier Airlines 24-hour cancellation policy permits travelers to cancel any flight ticket within 24 hours of purchasing and receive a full refund, only if the flight departs at least 7 later. This policy is applicable to all ticket types, and also on non-refundable fares.


However, if you cancel within 7 days of travel or after 24 hours of booking your ticket, a cancellation fee will be included depending on the fare conditions of your ticket.

Frontier Airlines Delays and Cancellations Policy


If your Frontier Airlines flight experiences delays, cancellations, or diversions because of  issues within the airline's control, like mechanical problems or baggage delays, you'll be rebooked on the next alternative flight without additional charges. Alternatively, if your flight is canceled, you can request a full refund for the unused part of your ticket.


In the event of disruptions caused by factors beyond Frontier Airlines' control, such as severe weather or bird strikes, you'll also be rebooked on the next suitable flight at no extra cost or a later flight that aligns with your schedule when conditions improve. Frontier Cancellation Fee


Frontier Airlines applies the following cancellation fees:


  • Within 24 hours of purchase: USD 0

  • 60-plus days before departure: USD 99

  • 59 – 7 days before departure: USD 99

  • 6 days or less before departure (including same day): USD 99


Note: No cancellation fee is applied for canceling a WORKS bundle ticket.


According to Frontier Airlines' cancellation policy, the following cancellation fees apply:


  • If you cancel a standard ticket 59 to 7 days before departure, a fee of USD 99 per passenger per way will be charged. The remaining value of your ticket will be retained as a travel credit for future use.

  • If you cancel a standard ticket 6 days or less before departure (including the same day), a fee of USD 99 per passenger per way will be charged. The remaining value of your ticket will be retained as a travel credit.

  • If you cancel an award ticket, a non-refundable redeposit fee of USD 75 will be charged for re-depositing your Frontier Miles. However, this fee is waived for Last Seat Award flights. Cancellation must occur before your flight’s departure.


Note:


After canceling your Frontier flight, the remaining value of your fare, minus the Frontier cancellation fee (and less the Flight Flexibility fee if applicable), will be retained as a single-use travel credit for 90 days. Remember that this credit will not have any residual value after use, even if there is remaining credit. While you don't have to travel within the 90-day period, you must make use of the travel credit to book within that window . Additionally, it's important to remember that Frontier's travel credits cannot be exchanged for cash, and the cancellation must be completed before your flight's departure.


Remember that any modifications to your itinerary may include fare differences and additional charges. If you prefer to cancel your flight, the value of your ticket will be converted into a travel credit, deducting the applicable cancellation fee and carrier charges.


Frontier Cancellation Fee for the Works Bundle


Under Frontier Airlines cancellation policy, no fees will be applied for canceling a WORKS ticket. Upon cancellation, the full value of the WORKS ticket will be retained as a single-use travel credit valid for up to one year from the transaction date.

  • After using the travel credit , no residual value will remain, regardless of any remaining balance.

  • If the travel credit amount is not enough to cover the cost of the new flight ticket, you can pay the remaining balance with your credit card.

  • If you seek a refund after canceling your ticket, you must also complete the Frontier Airlines Refund Application Form.

Here's how you can cancel based on how you booked your ticket:


  1. Direct Booking: If you booked your ticket directly through Air Canada, Google Flights, Skyscanner, or Kayak, you can cancel online via the "My Bookings" section of the respective platform or by calling Frontier Airlines.

  • If you haven't used any portion of your ticket, the refund amount will include the fare paid, as well as ancillary purchases (e.g., baggage fees, seat assignments), government charges, fees, taxes, and certain other charges paid towards the ticket.

  • If you've used a portion of your ticket, the refund amount will include the fare paid, plus all ancillary purchases made from the point of termination or stopover of your flight to the destination.
