Eastern Airlines

Eastern Airlines, also known as Eastern Air Lines, is a historic American airline that was originally founded in 1926. Eastern Airlines operated as one of the major airlines in the United States for many decades before ceasing operations in 1991.In 2015, a new company called Eastern Air Lines Group acquired the intellectual property of the original Eastern Airlines, including the iconic name and logo. This new entity aimed to revive the Eastern Airlines brand and began operating charter flights and cargo services using leased aircraft. Eastern Airlines has focused primarily on charter flights, including passenger charters, sports team charters, and military charters. The airline has operated flights to various destinations in the United States, the Caribbean, South America, and Asia. While Eastern Airlines currently operates on a smaller scale compared to its predecessor, it continues to utilize the historic brand name and aims to provide reliable and efficient air travel services to its customers.
